To ensure our customers are successful with their SPC and Quality Management implementation using MeasurLink® software, Mitutoyo America Corporation has designed a proven methodology of implementing the system.
The standard processes are:
  • Needs assessment
  • System setup and integration
  • End User Training
  • Regular system maintenance
Mitutoyo has also designed several fee-based services around our standard implementation practices to help our customers. All services are flexibly catered to meet our customers’ specific needs and are reasonably priced. Mitutoyo America Corporation will make the recommendation and the customers can choose the services based on their situation.

Additional Services Provided for MeasurLink® Software:

Consultation

The purpose of the consultation service is to help our customer implement our software in the most effective and efficient way. With the proper knowledge and strategy, our customer can see their return of their investment at a much faster pace. We truly believe the success of the customer is our success. Therefore we can cover the many different phases of implementation. Depending on the nature and scale of the engagement, a project manager may be assigned to ensure a successful implementation.

Program Customization

Mitutoyo America Corporation provides customization service to all MeasurLink® customers with a reasonable fee. The customization request will be evaluated based on feasibility and the nature of the request. All customization work will be developed with the same kind of quality and attention as the regular software. We will also make our best effort to try to incorporate the customization into all future releases of our software products to minimize our customers’ cost.

Training

Training is the key for any successful SPC implementation. Mitutoyo America Corporation is very proud of its distinguished training services. We have the best people in the industry conducting the training classes. We can cover all aspects of using our software correctly in your organization. All training sessions will be tailored to fit the specific customer’s environment and needs. Training can be conducted in the customer’s facility or a Mitutoyo facility. Size of the training class can vary from one to hundreds of users. The length of the training varies normally from half a day to two days depending on the nature of the training. The training cost is based on the size of the class and the depth of coverage.

Maintenance Contract

Maintenance

The purpose of the maintenance contract is to help the customer to maintain a flawless SPC and Quality Management system. Several services can be included in the maintenance contract:

  • Regular maintenance services

This service provides regular on-site visits from Mitutoyo to ensure the effective operation of MeasurLink® software at the customers’ locations.

  • Free software maintenance upgrade

This will be provided when a maintenance contract is purchased

  • Free software version upgrade

This can be included in the contract if the customers selects to purchase this option.
