MeasurLink® 11 ships with Microsoft SQL Server Express Edition 2025. This edition can be used to support standalone or multi-machine deployments. We recommend 5 licenses or fewer when using SQL Server Express.
MeasurLink® supports the following Microsoft SQL Server versions:
Hosting server requirements are based on the recommendations of Microsoft for the edition of SQL Server that is selected.
Devices require a Windows 11 64-bit operating system. Windows 11 versions IoT and SE are not supported. Operating systems prior to Windows 11 are not supported.
These requirements are the minimum for Windows OS and may not provide optimum performance. In general, the more powerful the PC is, the faster the response times!
• 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor (review published requirements for the specific Windows 11 version in use)
• 8 gigabytes (GB) RAM (more if multitasking)
• 20 GB available hard disk space (more if also hosting the MeasurLink® database on the same computer)
• Optional: DVD-ROM drive or USB-A port for software installation if not installing from the standard media package available for download.
